I have been wearing masks for years to help combat pretty severe spring tree allergies. In 2019 I had taken a pattern off an existing face mask that was just a little small for my face and scaled it up with the intention of making myself a bunch of cute masks, so I was in a good position to whip up a bunch of 4 ply 100% cotton masks complete with a filter pocket. It was a great way to use up a bunch of fat quarters I impulse purchased at the since closed City Quilter.
